Dizzee v Shakespeare

The sessions with students from The City School are going well. Initial ideas for their written interpretation have been really funny. One idea is William Shakespeare and Dizzee Rascal in discussion about who has the best chat up lines for Lady Denham (pictured). We decided to concentrate on the works of the poets and lyricists to inspire the interpretation and are going to write about gender stereotypes, which has led to some rather strange discussions including one about a man in green tights! I’ll tell you more about that next time when I’ve got a clearer idea of where it’s going.
