Kiki Blues

I couldn’t resist adding this song. The Creative and Media group from City School in Sheffield wrote the lyrics based on a piece of work in Graves Gallery. The quirky lyrics were inspired by the lyrics of the song writers in the exhibition such as Morrissey and Ian Curtis. It is sung by Richard Kitson, a fantastic musician and artist who we worked with. The group were too shy to sing it themselves. I hope it works as this is the first time I’ve tried to upload anything other than a picture. I would also have¬†downloaded the work it relates to but I might get into trouble for breaking copyright laws.

We’ve recently been to Northend Printers in Sheffield to see what they are going to do with our¬†cd booklets which the group designed themselves, and on Monday I’m collecting 200 copies of the cd.

It was fantastic seeing Writers of Influence in Southampton. It looked really good and I know our Young Curators would have been very proud. We also got to have some great cake in the cafe. Thank you Southampton for a lovely day.

I now have the CDs fully put together with lyrics booklets and lots of fancy design work done by the students. They will be on sale in Graves Gallery shop soon! Any profits made go straight to the students who will decide what they want to do with it.
